This isn't just a museum; it's an experience - an exciting and entertaining destination in Nashville with something for everyone. Rhinestone costumes, seasoned instruments and tear-stained lyric sheets are only the beginning. Add interactive exhibits, films featuring today's top country names, private sessions with professional songwriters, incredible architecture along with our famous southern hospitality, and a day at the museum turns into the memories of a lifetime.

Tours of the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum can be self-guided, or you can enhance your visit with an audio tour and let Vince Gill, Dolly Parton and other stars be your guides. Computer kiosks and touch screens make it easy to get a more in-depth look at the exhibits. You can even put together your own music mix and burn a custom CD.

Our calendar of events guarantees surprises no matter how often you visit. On weekends, you'll see performances by everyone from bluegrass pickers to gospel singers and hear everything from honky tonk jams to country's latest sounds.

Visit "The Home of 1,000 Hits"
There's always more to see and do at the Hall. Unique artist appearances, special programs, and even a personal tour of one of the most famous recording studios in the world - historic RCA Studio B. Get an up-close look at what was once the second home of music legends Elvis Presley, Chet Atkins, Dolly Parton and more. Over 35,000 songs were recorded here, including "It's Now Or Never," "Only The Lonely," and "I Will Always Love You." Now you can see how and where many of the greatest performers of the 1950s through the 1970s made timeless music and recording history. It's about more than showcasing the artifacts. It's about giving you the ultimate country music experience and providing you the opportunity to be a part of the history.

View exclusive exhibits
During your visit, don't miss our exciting array of exhibits. Personal mementos, archival video, and music tell the story of banjo guru and Country Music Hall of FameĈ member Earl Scruggs in Banjo Man: The Musical Journey of Earl Scruggs, open through June 2006. Coming in 2006, see I Can't Stop Loving You: Ray Charles and Country Music. From his early days in a country band to his legendary recording of "I Can't Stop Loving You," Ray Charles spent a lifetime changing the popular perception of country music. Soon you can see just how he did it. Also in 2006, experience the magic of Ray Price in For The Good Times: The Ray Price Story. A Texan widely celebrated for his enduring appeal, Price is one of country music's great innovators. This exhibit will feature rare video footage, costumes, sheet music, concert posters, and personal mementos from Price himself - all designed to give you a greater understanding of the original Cherokee Cowboy.
